Emergency lighting 6 watt surface-mounted emergency light fixture

If you need high light output, this is the fixture for you. It has 20 LEDs and a test button so that you can manually check if the battery is functioning. You can apply the pictogram to the fixture that best suits your location. Before applying the pictogram to the fixture, it's best to clean it with soap and water.

The fixture comes with a standard Ni-Cd battery (1500mAh) and a battery life of over 3 hours.

Installation

The LED emergency light can be mounted above doors, windows, and on walls. In consultation with a specialist, you can determine how many locations require emergency lighting and how it can be installed.

Circles marked on the back and sides of the fixture indicate where you can make holes. After drilling a hole, you can connect the wires to the terminal block mounted on the circuit board. 

This is how you connect the fixture to the power grid (230V). To make the hole resistant to water damage, you can install a PG9 strain relief in the drilled hole and then thread the wires through it. This way, you protect the fixture from water damage, and the strain relief also ensures that the cable cannot be disconnected from the terminal block.

Continuous or non-continuous

The fixture can be set to continuous (permanent lighting) or emergency lighting (non-permanent or non-continuous emergency lighting). If the fixture is set to continuous, the light will remain on even if there is no power outage. If you set the fixture to non-continuous, the light will only turn on when the fixture no longer receives power from the grid and will then stay on for 3 hours. Three hours is usually sufficient for employees and visitors to leave a building and also meets legal standards.
