The LY Sweden Premium Pavilion Light String is a ready-made lighting system designed specifically for 3x3 or 3x4 metre pavilions. You get a clean, stylish setup where the strings follow the roof structure and run down each leg to the ground, creating an even, welcoming glow around the whole pavilion.

It’s almost ready to use straight away: attach the cable splitter at the top, hang the strings, screw in the bulbs, and plug it in—done.

For a soft, atmospheric glow, 1W LED bulbs are ideal. The included bulbs are also dimmable. Please note: to dim, you’ll need an LED-compatible dimmer. You can choose your set with 1W, 2W, 3W or G80 bulbs (select in the dropdown).

Installation – how to mount the pavilion light string

Unpack & inspect
Carefully remove the set from the packaging and check the cable, strings and plug for any damage.

Attach the cable splitter at the top
Fix the splitter to the top frame of the pavilion roof, e.g. using zip ties (included).

Connect the light strings
Plug each light string into its corresponding outlet on the splitter.

Run along the frame and down each leg
Route the strings along the pavilion frame and down each leg. Secure with zip ties as you go for a neat, stable installation.

Place the power lead near the closest outlet
Choose the pavilion leg closest to your power outlet and position the string with the power lead there.

Screw in the bulbs firmly
Screw in all bulbs and tighten properly. This is important to ensure maximum water resistance and weather protection.

1) Will it fit all 3x3 and 3x4 m pavilions?
Yes, it’s designed for standard sizes and the 4-string layout fits most models. Minor frame differences can occur, but it generally works across brands.

2) Are bulbs included?
Yes, LED bulbs are included. They’re dimmable and provide a soft, atmospheric light.

3) Is it dimmable?
Yes. You’ll need an LED-compatible dimmer to dim the lights.

4) Can it be used outdoors all year?
Yes—IP65 rated for outdoor environments. For best protection: make sure bulbs are tightened and all caps/connectors are properly sealed.

5) How do I install it neatly and safely?
Mount the splitter at the top, route the strings along the frame and down the legs, and secure with zip ties at regular intervals. Don’t pull the cables too tight—leave a little slack.

6) How long is the power lead?
10 metres.

7) Can I swap to other E27 bulbs?
Yes. We recommend LED bulbs and, for outdoor use, bulbs intended for outdoor environments. Dimming performance can depend on bulb and dimmer.

8) What if one bulb doesn’t light up?
First, check that it’s screwed in properly. Then swap two bulbs to see if the issue follows the bulb. Also check that all connectors are fully seated.

9) Is it safe to use in rain?
Yes—IP65 rated. Important: tighten bulbs properly and ensure all connectors/caps are sealed.

10) Can the pavilion set be extended?
This set is designed as a complete solution for 3x3 or 3x4 m. For larger/custom installations, we recommend our extendable premium light strings with male/female connectors.
