With our hybrid string lights featuring E27 sockets, you never have to choose between solar power and mains electricity. During spring and summer, the solar panel powers the lights without the need for a power outlet. When autumn and winter arrive and daylight hours become shorter, simply disconnect the solar panel and connect the included power adapter instead.

The string lights are available in two lengths, 10 and 20 metres, with 20 and 40 LED bulbs respectively. Both versions are extendable and can easily be connected together to create longer installations without purchasing any additional connectors.

The classic 1W S14 bulbs emit a pleasant, extra warm white light at 2200 K, creating an inviting atmosphere on your patio, in the garden, across your terrace or in a restaurant's outdoor seating area.

Connect the solar panel and let the sun charge the powerful 7200 mAh battery. After approximately 8–10 hours of charging, the string lights can operate for up to 12–16 hours, depending on sunlight, charging conditions and the selected lighting mode. No need to run a power cable: simply position the lights wherever you want to create an inviting ambience.

When there is not enough sunlight, simply disconnect the solar panel and connect the included power adapter to a standard electrical outlet instead.

Extendable – no extra accessories required

Both versions feature integrated male and female connectors, making it easy to connect multiple sets of string lights. No additional couplers or other accessories are required.

• 10 metres with 20 bulbs: Connect up to five sets to create one continuous 50-metre installation with 100 bulbs.
• 20 metres with 40 bulbs: Connect up to three sets to create one continuous 60-metre installation with 120 bulbs.

Customise the lighting with the remote controls

Remote controls are included for both the solar panel and the power adapter. Easily switch between different lighting modes. Choose a steady, warm glow for a calm and inviting atmosphere, or select one of the flashing modes for a more festive feel. You can also dim the bulbs using the remote controls.

With an IP65 protection rating, the string lights are designed for outdoor use. The black cable and classic S14 bulbs provide a timeless appearance that suits both modern and traditional settings. The bulbs are spaced 50 cm apart for even light distribution. The four-metre power lead makes it easy to position the solar panel or power adapter in a suitable location.

What does it mean that these string lights are a hybrid model?

The hybrid function means that the same string lights can be powered in two different ways. During spring and summer, use the included solar panel to charge the battery. When daylight becomes insufficient in autumn and winter, disconnect the solar panel and connect the included power adapter to a standard 230V outlet instead.

Are both the solar panel and power adapter included?

Yes. Both the solar panel and power adapter are included, allowing you to switch between solar and mains power depending on the season and conditions.

Can the solar panel and power adapter be used at the same time?

No. The string lights operate using one power source at a time. Connect either the solar panel or the power adapter.

Are the bulbs dimmable?

Yes. The bulbs in the Hybrid range can be dimmed using the included remote controls, with preset brightness levels (x %). The system operates at 24V and cannot be used with our external LED dimmer.

Can I use the string lights all year round?

Yes. That is the idea behind the Hybrid range. During the brighter months, use the solar panel; during periods with less sunlight, use the power adapter instead. This allows you to use the same string lights all year round. The string lights are designed to withstand our climate and changing seasons. 

How long do the lights operate on a full charge?

On a full charge, the string lights can operate for up to approximately 12–16 hours. Actual operating time depends on factors such as how much sunlight the solar panel has received, the season, placement and the lighting mode selected.

How long does it take to charge the battery?

Under good sunlight conditions, charging takes approximately 8–10 hours. In autumn, winter, on cloudy days or when the panel is shaded, charging may take longer and the battery may not become fully charged.

Does the solar panel need direct sunlight?

For best charging performance, position the solar panel where it receives as much direct sunlight as possible throughout the day. Shade from buildings, trees or other objects reduces charging performance and therefore operating time.

Do I need to buy any extra connectors to extend the string lights?

No. The connectors are already integrated into the string lights, so you can connect the next set directly.

Which lighting modes are available?

With the included remote control, you can choose from eight lighting modes in total: one steady light mode and seven different flashing or dynamic modes.

Can I have a normal steady light without flashing?

Yes. One of the modes provides a normal, steady warm white glow, so you do not need to use any flashing modes.

What is the colour temperature of the bulbs?

The bulbs emit an extra warm white light at 2200 K, providing a soft, atmospheric glow.

Are the bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The string lights use 1W S14 LED bulbs and are supplied with spare bulbs. The 10-metre version includes 1 spare bulb, while the 20-metre version includes 2 spare bulbs.

Can I use standard 230V E27 bulbs in these string lights?

No. The Hybrid range uses a 24V system and is designed for the compatible S14 LED bulbs intended for this model. Standard 230V E27 bulbs must not be used.

Are the string lights suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The string lights themselves are IP65-rated and designed for outdoor use. The included power adapter is IP44-rated and should be positioned in a suitably sheltered location in accordance with normal outdoor electrical connection practices.
