Looking for atmospheric lighting for your garden or balcony? Look no further! The lighting is entirely solar-powered, making the string lights practical and environmentally friendly. Another advantage over a traditional 230V string is that you don't need an electrical outlet nearby. These solar string lights run entirely on solar energy, making them very practical and eco-friendly. The string lights come with 20 E27 bulbs in hanging sockets.

Solar string lights with solar panel

The string has a solar panel with a battery. During the day, the battery charges, and when it gets dark, the lights turn on. What if it's not sunny? You can charge the string lights with a USB cable (not included). The solar panel has a built-in light sensor, so the lights automatically turn on in the dark. It also has a handy on/off button if you don't want any light in the garden at night. Additionally, there is an automatic timer in the solar panel that ensures the lights turn off after 8 hours of use. The string lights can be set to 4 different modes: standard, flashing light, fast flashing light, and double flashing light. You can attach the solar panel in two different ways.

How does the sun affect charging?

A solar lamp needs a lot of light during the day to charge and illuminate in the evenings. The more sunlight the solar panel receives during the day, the better the battery charges to release energy as light. If the lamp collects little or no energy on a cloudy day, the battery will be less charged, and the lamp may light for a shorter time in the dark or not light at all. During the winter period, the sun will not always be strong enough to charge the solar products properly. Therefore, the solar string lights will shine longer in the summer and shorter in the winter.

Not only is the sun an important factor, but also the angle at which the sun shines on the solar panel significantly affects it. The more perpendicular the angle, the better the battery charges. Therefore, place the solar panel in a sunny spot, preferably south-facing. Regularly cleaning the solar panel extends the lifespan and burn time of your solar lamp.

Fully charge the battery of a solar lamp before using it with a micro-USB cable. This solar cable has an on/off switch. Turn the switch to "off" and connect the panel to the micro-USB cable. Let the panel charge for at least 5 hours so that the battery has a chance to be fully charged. Then you can set the switch to "on" and enjoy your solar lighting in the evening.

Is the solar cable waterproof?

The solar string lights are rated IP65. This means the string is completely weatherproof and can be hung outdoors all year round.

Sustainable products

The lamps have an almost unbreakable polycarbonate shade. The LED bulbs have a long lifespan. If a lamp should break, you can easily replace it.
