Create a warm and personal atmosphere with LY Sweden Premium Rope String Lights – a decorative E27 string light where the traditional electrical cable is covered with natural hemp rope.

Unlike a standard black string light, the cable itself becomes part of the interior design. The combination of hemp rope, matte beige lamp sockets and warm white S14 bulbs creates a soft and rustic look that works equally well in homes, restaurants, cafés, hotels and other commercial environments. It is also a very good choice for coastal properties. 

The string lights are available in two lengths:

• 5 metres with 10 E27 bulbs
• 10 metres with 20 E27 bulbs

The bulbs are spaced 48 cm apart.

Extra warm 2200K light

The string lights are supplied complete with clear S14 LED bulbs with E27 bases and a warm colour temperature of 2200K. The warm light is particularly suitable for environments where you want to create a relaxed and cosy atmosphere rather than strong task lighting. Built-in LEDs run along the rope cable and create a very festive effect.

The 5-metre model is supplied with 10 bulbs plus 1 spare bulb. The corresponding 10-metre model has 20 bulbs.

Hemp rope as part of the interior

The electrical cable is covered with genuine hemp rope, giving the string lights a much softer and more decorative appearance than a traditional PVC cable.

This makes it particularly suitable for, for example:

Powered by safe 24V low voltage

The string lights are powered by 24V DC via the included power adapter. The adapter connects to a standard 230V outlet and converts the mains voltage to low voltage before the power reaches the string lights themselves. This makes the string lights a convenient solution for decorative indoor lighting.

4 metre connection cable

Both models have a generous 4 metre connection cable, making it easier to position the illuminated section exactly where you want it.

Connectable up to 50 bulbs

The string lights are connectable and several strings can be connected one after another. The system is designed for up to a total of 50 E27 bulbs, making it possible to create longer continuous installations in restaurants, cafés, event venues and hotels. This means that you can connect 5 pcs of the 5m/10 model and 2 pcs of the 10m/20 string lights. 

This also means that you can combine different lengths as long as the total number of bulbs does not exceed 50.

IP44

The string lights are IP44 rated. The product is primarily designed for indoor use and is particularly suitable where the string lights themselves are intended to be a visible part of the environment.

Can the string lights be used in a conservatory?

Yes. The string lights are IP44 rated and work well in conservatories, glazed balconies and similar protected environments. They are primarily designed for indoor use but can handle environments where they may be exposed to some moisture and splashes.

Can the string lights be used outdoors?

The product is primarily intended for indoor use and protected environments. For completely unprotected outdoor installations, we instead recommend our outdoor string lights with a higher IP rating.

Which bulbs are included?

The string lights are supplied complete with clear S14 LED bulbs with E27 bases and a warm colour temperature of 2200K. An additional spare bulb is also included.
